A customer bought a gift card with Cash on Delivery. When does the recipient get the code?

Gift card codes are only created once the order counts as paid. For a Cash on Delivery order, that's when you move it to Processing:

1. Go to Orders → Manage Orders and open the order.
2. Choose Processing in the status dropdown.
3. Click Update Status.

Wcart then creates the code for each gift card line and emails it to the recipient the buyer entered. If no recipient was given, it goes to the buyer's own email.

For orders paid online, the code is sent as soon as the payment is confirmed. You don't have to do anything.
