How does a customer use a gift card code on my store?

I issued a gift card to a customer and they're asking where to enter the code.

Gift cards turn into store credit in the customer's wallet:

  1. The customer signs in to their account on your store.
  2. They open My Wallet and find Redeem a gift card.
  3. They enter the code (it looks like GC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Check to see the balance.
  4. They click Add to store credit.

The card's full balance moves into their wallet, and the card is marked Redeemed in your list. At checkout they tick Use my wallet balance to spend it.

My Wallet needs the Wallet / Store Credit plugin to be active. In its settings, also tick Allow paying with wallet at checkout.
