Does a store pickup customer have to fill in a delivery address?

No. When your store has the Click & Collect plugin and at least one store location is a pickup point, checkout shows a Delivery method box with Ship to me and Pickup in store · free.

If the customer picks Pickup in store, the shipping address fields are hidden. They only need to:

• choose a store under Choose a store
• give their contact details (email and name, plus phone if your store requires it)

If they forget the store, they see "Please choose a pickup store". Shipping is set to zero for the order.

To turn a location into a pickup point, go to Products → Inventory, open Store Locations, click Edit on the location, switch on Pickup point and click Save.
