Can shoppers buy without leaving Instagram or Facebook?

I saw Meta Checkout under Checkout mode and want customers to pay inside the app.

Only if Meta enables it for you. In Plugins → Instagram & Facebook Shop, Checkout mode has two choices:

  • On-site: shoppers who tap a product go to your storefront to buy. This works for everyone.
  • Meta Checkout: this only records that you have set up checkout on Meta's side.

Checkout on Facebook and Instagram has to be switched on by Meta in your Commerce Manager (Settings → Checkout Method), and Meta decides who is eligible. Wcart cannot turn it on for you. Until Meta does, shoppers keep landing on your storefront.
