Why does Go Live say I need to add an HLS playback URL first?

Go Live needs a valid HLS playback URL saved on the session. That's the .m3u8 link your streaming server publishes and the one shoppers watch.

1. In Plugins → Video Commerce, Edit the session.
2. Check Session type is Live.
3. Paste the full link, starting with https, into HLS playback URL and click Update session.
4. Start streaming from OBS or your encoder, then click Go Live on the session row and confirm.

The RTMP ingest URL and Stream key are only for your encoder. They don't replace the HLS link. When you're done, click End Live.
