Which payment gateway can I use for customers in Kenya, Nigeria or other African countries?

Most of my buyers are in East and West Africa. Razorpay and Cashfree do not work for them.

Two of the gateways in Wcart are built for African markets:

  • Paystack: NGN, GHS, ZAR, KES and USD. Needs a Secret Key; Public Key is optional.
  • PesaPal: KES, TZS, UGX and USD. Needs a Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.

To set one up, go to Settings → Store Settings → Payment Gateway, tick it in the Payment Gateways box and click Save gateways. Then click Configure on its row, choose Live / Sandbox, enter the keys, pick the currencies you sell in under Supported Currency, set Status to Active and click Submit.

Both send the customer to the gateway's own payment page.
