What happens to the customers in a group if I delete the group?

The customers stay in your store; they are just taken out of the group.

On Customers → Customer Groups, click Delete on the group and confirm. The confirmation reads that members will be un-assigned. From then on those customers pay normal prices, unless you put them in another group.

If you may want the group again later, untick Active on the group instead of deleting it.
