Orders → Fraud Protection gives each new order a Low / Medium / High risk score from simple rules. By default it only flags orders; it doesn't stop a checkout.
- Rules you can switch on or off: order velocity, failed-payment velocity, IP vs shipping country, billing vs shipping country, unusual order value, disposable email, COD return history (RTO) and the Blocklist.
- Thresholds set the Medium and High scores. Leave them blank to use the defaults (30 and 60).
- Auto-action policy: for Medium or High orders choose None, Flag "Needs review" or Flag "Hold". For High orders you can also block COD at checkout or auto-cancel the order. Auto-cancel is off by default, and it reverses credits and releases stock.
On a scored order, the Fraud analysis card shows the signals that fired, plus Mark safe, Block email and Block phone. You can filter the order list by Fraud risk. Test orders are never scored.
