What are Shipping Packages for, and how do I use them?

Shipping Packages are reusable box sizes, so you don't have to type the same dimensions on every product.

1. Go to Settings → Store Settings → Shipping Package and click + Add package.
2. Pick a Package type (Box, Envelope or Soft package), then enter Length, Width, Height, the Unit (cm or in), an optional Weight and a Package name.
3. Tick Use as default package for all products if most of your items ship in the same box.

On a product, the Shipping card has a Package dropdown. Choosing a package copies its dimensions into Dimensions (cm). The package weight is treated as the empty box, so it only fills Product weight when that field is blank. On a new product, the default package is pre-selected for you.

You can skip packages entirely and enter dimensions on each product instead.
