My cookie banner is switched on but it isn't showing on my storefront. What should I check?

I ticked the box and saved, but I don't see any banner when I visit my store.

Check these in order:

  1. Settings → Web Settings → Cookie Consent: Show the cookie banner on the storefront is ticked and you clicked Save settings. The preview box says "The banner is live on your storefront" when it's on.
  2. The Cookie Consent (GDPR) plugin is still active for your store. If it isn't, the settings page shows an upgrade card and the storefront hides the banner.
  3. You haven't already clicked Accept or Decline in this browser. A choice hides the banner for a year. Try a private or incognito window.

The banner also doesn't appear in theme demo previews, only on your real storefront.
