I turned on AI Search Optimization, but none of its markup shows on my store. Why?

I checked my product pages and llms.txt and nothing from the plugin appears.

The most common cause is that your store is hidden from search engines. The plugin then switches everything off on purpose, because a hidden store should not advertise itself to AI tools either.

  1. Go to Settings → Web Settings → General Settings.
  2. Under Search Engine Visibility, choose Yes and save.

Also check that:

  • the AI Search Optimization plugin is active for your store
  • the feature you are looking for is still switched on in Plugins → AI Search Optimization

Some parts only appear when there is data for them. For example, rating stars need at least one review on the product.
