How do plugins work, and what happens if my subscription lapses?

Some features say they need a plan or purchase. How are plugins unlocked, and will I lose my data if my plan expires?

Plugins is the marketplace in your admin. - Free plugins are simple on/off toggles. - Premium plugins are unlocked by your plan or by buying the plugin. Once unlocked, activate it and configure it from its own page. Your subscription controls which plugins and limits you get. If it lapses, the storefront shows an "unavailable" page until it is renewed — nothing is deleted, and the store comes back as it was after renewal.
