How do I start accepting online payments on my store?

I have added my products and want customers to pay by card/UPI at checkout. Where do I connect a payment gateway, and which ones are supported?

Payment methods are set up in one place: Settings → Store Settings → Payment Gateway.

  1. Make sure the Online Payments plugin is active (Plugins). Your plan decides how many online gateways you can use.
  2. In the Payment Gateways box at the top of the page, tick the gateway(s) you have an account with and click Save gateways. Supported gateways: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, PayUmoney, Cashfree, PhonePe, Shiprocket Checkout, Adyen, Checkout.com, Paystack, PayHere and PesaPal.
  3. Each saved gateway appears in the Payment Methods table below. Click Configure on its row and enter the API keys from your gateway's dashboard. They are stored encrypted.
  4. Set Live / Sandbox to Sandbox first and save your keys. Then tick Enabled on the gateway's row, place a test order, and switch to Live when it works.

Only gateways that are enabled appear at checkout. For offline payments, see the Cash on Delivery thread.
