How do I give a free trial or stop a subscription after a set number of payments?

Both are set per plan in the Subscription plans card of the product:

• Trial days: the number of free days before the first charge. Leave it at 0 for no trial.
• Max cycles: how many payments the subscription runs for. 0 means it continues until it is cancelled.

On the product page the plan shows extras like "7-day free trial" or "6 payments", so shoppers know what they are signing up for. In their account the shopper also sees how many of the payments are done.

When the last payment of a plan with Max cycles is collected, the subscription completes and the customer gets an email confirming that all payments have been made.
