Do customers get push notifications automatically when their order status changes?

I'd like shoppers who allowed notifications to hear about their order without me sending anything.

Yes. In Plugins → Push Notifications, the Notifications list has templates marked Default that send automatic order updates. Their Trigger column shows the event that sends each one.

  • Click Edit to change the Title, Message, Link or Channel (Web + App, Web only or App only), then Save.
  • Click the On / Off badge in Status to switch one on or off.

Default notifications can't be deleted, only edited or switched off. They only reach shoppers who allowed notifications.
