Can I show customers whether COD is available for their pincode?

I only offer Cash on Delivery in some areas and customers keep asking.

Partly. The Delivery Restrictions plugin adds a pincode checker to the product, cart and checkout pages. The shopper enters their pincode and sees:

  • Whether you deliver there.
  • An estimated delivery time, if you turn on Show delivery estimate.
  • Whether Cash on Delivery is available, if you turn on Restrict COD by pincode.

You add the pincodes you serve, and set COD per pincode, in the plugin. The COD message is a notice only; it doesn't remove COD from checkout.
