Can I give free shipping with a coupon code?

I want to run a FREESHIP code for one weekend only.

Yes, with the Coupons plugin:

  1. Open the Coupons page and click + New coupon.
  2. Enter the Code, for example FREESHIP.
  3. Set Type to Free shipping. The value field is ignored for this type.
  4. Optionally set Minimum cart value, Valid from and Valid until, a Total usage limit or a Per-customer limit.
  5. Keep Active ticked and click Save coupon.

When a shopper applies it, the shipping line drops to zero, whatever your shipping settings or zones would charge.
