Can I give a customer a membership for free, like a VIP or an influencer?

I want to give a few people Gold membership without them paying for it.

Yes. Go to Plugins → Membership, open the Members tab and click Grant membership.

  1. Find customer: search by name or email to narrow the list.
  2. Customer: pick the person.
  3. Plan: choose the tier, for example Gold.
  4. Months: how many months to give. Leave it blank to use the plan's own billing period.
  5. Click Grant membership.

The customer gets the plan's perks straight away and appears in the Members list, where you can see their Status, Expires date and Source. You can Cancel it there later.
