Will reviews I import from a spreadsheet go live straight away?

I am moving old reviews over and want to check them before customers can see them.

By default, yes. Imported reviews are Approved unless the status column says otherwise. Use that column to control each row:

  • Leave it blank, or write approved or published: Approved (visible).
  • Write pending or 0: Pending (hidden until you approve it).
  • Write rejected or spam: Rejected.

To import:

  1. Go to Marketing → Reviews and Ratings and click Import Reviews.
  2. Download the CSV template or XLSX template and fill it in.
  3. Choose your file under Review file (CSV or XLSX) and click Import Reviews.
