Why don't my saved attribute values show up as quick-add chips when I add variants?

The chips only appear when the option name matches the attribute name. Capital letters don't matter, but spelling does, so "Colour" and "Color" don't match.

To fix it:

1. Open the product and go to the Variants card.
2. Click in the Option name box. A list of Attributes you have already set up appears. Pick the attribute from that list instead of typing.
3. Chips appear beside the value box, for example from Colour: + Red + Blue. Click them to add values.
4. Click Save.

Other things to check:

• The attribute has values. Go to Products → Products, click Attributes, then Items on that row.
• Values already on the product aren't shown as chips again.
