Why doesn't my code snippet run on my blog or About Us page?

Show on pages only offers these page types: home, product, category, shop, cart, checkout and account. Blog posts, CMS pages like About Us, and any other page don't belong to any of them.

So a snippet with pages selected never runs on those other pages. To include them, edit the snippet and deselect all the page buttons. With none selected, the snippet runs on every page of your store. Click Save.

If it must run everywhere except one page type, there's no exclude option. Leave the pages empty and limit it inside your code instead.
