Why did my edits disappear when I filtered products in the Bulk SEO editor?

I changed a dozen descriptions, typed in the filter box to find another product, and my changes were gone.

Changing the filter clears unsaved edits. This stops changes from being applied to the wrong products.

To avoid losing work:

  1. Go to Settings → SEO Settings → Bulk SEO Editor.
  2. Edit the Search title and Search description for the products you can see.
  3. Click the Save N changes button at the top before you type in Filter products….
  4. Then filter and carry on.

Edited rows are highlighted until you save. The editor needs the Advanced SEO plugin.
