Which parts of a product are not copied when I click Duplicate?

Duplicate copies the product form itself: title, descriptions, prices, variants, images, categories, tags, product-level shipping details, SEO fields and upsell picks.

These are stored separately and are not copied:

• Customer reviews and product FAQs
• Wholesale price tiers and Add-ons set up for that product
• Values typed on the Additional Fields tab
• Stock held in warehouses or store locations. The copy has a new SKU, so it starts at zero there.
• Each variant's weight, dimensions and shipping cost from its Details panel
• The Product Log history

Two things are copied that you'll usually want to change:

• Barcode: both products now share it. Give the copy its own.
• Canonical URL: if the original had one, the copy points search engines to the original. Clear it if the copy should rank on its own.

Then click Save.
