What is the Primary category, and why do I have to choose one?

I picked three categories for my product but it still won't save until I pick a primary one.

A product can be in several categories, but one of them is its main one. That is the Primary category.

In the Organization card:

  1. Under Categories, pick every category the product belongs to, for example Men, Shirts and New Arrivals.
  2. Under Primary category, choose the main one from your selection, for example Shirts. Wcart fills this in with the first category you pick, but you can change it.
  3. Click Save.

Both fields are required. Without them you will see "Please select at least one category." or "Please select a primary category."
