What is the difference between "Save answer" and "Answer & publish" for customer questions?

Both are on the Customer Questions tab of Product FAQs. Write your reply in Your answer first.

• Save answer records the answer and marks the question answered. It is not added to the product FAQ list.
• Answer & publish does the same and also adds the question and answer to that product's FAQs. The question is marked posted, and on the Product FAQs tab it is labelled "from a customer".

Either way, if the shopper left an email address they are emailed your answer.

To show answered questions as a public Q&A list on product pages, tick Show the Customer Q&A section on the Settings tab and set a Q&A section title.
