What is a Territory in Inventory, and do I need one?

A territory is a geographic area that groups your warehouses. It sits at the top of the Territory → Warehouse → Store structure.

• Add one under Inventory → Territories with + Add: a Territory name, address and contact details, and an optional Service radius (km).
• Then, when you add or edit a warehouse under Inventory → Warehouses, pick it in the Territory field.
• Each territory can have one default warehouse (Make default).

The service radius is stored for your reference. It does not limit where you deliver. Shipping zones and pincode rules do that.

One territory is included. More need the Multi Warehouse & Store Management plugin. If you have one stockroom, a single territory is enough.
