What happens when my Cartana AI credits run out?

I've been using AI to write a lot of product content. What happens when the balance reaches zero, and how do I check it?

When your balance is used up, Cartana's writing tools stop and show Out of AI tokens. This covers Generate with AI on products, Magic Fill, blog and page generation, and review generation. Nothing you already generated or saved is affected.

To check and top up, open Cartana AI → Plans & usage:

  • Credits left, Total used and This month show your balance and usage.
  • History & reports lists every AI action. Tabs for usage, chat, recharges and usage by product can each be exported to CSV.
  • Buy AI credits (store owner only) lists the credit plans for your store. Click Buy to pay at a secure checkout, and the credits are added once payment succeeds.

If you don't see Buy AI credits, no credit plans are set up for your store yet. Contact our team to add credits.
