What gets recorded in the Timeline on an order?

I see a Timeline box at the bottom of each order. What kind of events appear there?

The Timeline on each order page is a running history, grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, then dates). It records:

  • When the order was placed or created from the admin
  • Every status change, for example "Status changed from Pending to Processing", with the cancel reason if there is one
  • Shipping updates, such as "Marked as shipped" with the carrier and tracking number
  • Emails sent, like the order confirmation or return emails
  • Edits to the order, payments and refunds recorded, and fraud checks
  • Notes and comments from your team

Each entry shows the time and who did it. To add your own entry, type in Leave a comment… and click Post.
