If I name a product in Hindi or Tamil, what will its web address look like?

Yes, the links work. Wcart keeps the letters of any script in the web address and turns spaces and punctuation into hyphens. A product called "सूती कुर्ता" gets an address ending in सूती-कुर्ता.

Browsers show it readable in the address bar. When the link is copied into some apps, it can look like a long string of % codes. That's the same link and still opens the product.

If you'd rather have an English address:

1. Save the product once, then open it from Products → Products.
2. In the Organization card, type an address in URL handle, for example cotton-kurta.
3. Click Save.

If you change the handle after the link has been shared, the old address stops working. Add a redirect for it under SEO Settings → Redirects.
