I created a new category but it doesn't show on my store. Why?

Your store only shows categories that have at least one Active product. An empty category is hidden from your shop's category list and filters, because there is nothing in it to browse.

To make it appear:

1. Open a product that belongs in the category, or add a new one.
2. In the Organization card, add the category under Categories.
3. Make sure the product's Status is Active, then click Save.

A parent category also shows when one of its subcategories has active products. If you link to the category from a menu, add a product first so shoppers don't land on an empty page.
