How do I sell one product in different sizes and colours?

I sell shirts in S, M, L and in three colours. Each combination has different stock. How do I set that up?

Use a Variable product with attributes: 1. Under Products → Attributes, create reusable option sets, for example Size (S, M, L) and Colour (Red, Blue, Black). 2. Add a product of type Variable and choose those attributes. 3. Each variant (for example Size M / Blue) gets its own price, stock and image. Shoppers pick the options on the product page and see the right price and stock for that combination.
