How do I record a partial refund on an order?

This uses the Payments box on the order page, which comes with the Partial Payments plugin.

1. Open the order and find Payments.
2. Click Record refund. It shows once the order has a paid amount.
3. Enter the Amount, choose the Method (for example Card / online or Bank transfer), and add a Reference or Note if you like.
4. Click Record refund.

Paid and Balance due update, and the refund appears under History and in the Timeline. You can't record more than was paid. This only records the refund. Send the money itself through your payment provider or bank.
