How do I make a coupon code that gives free shipping?

Go to Marketing → Coupons and click + New coupon.

1. Enter the Code, for example FREESHIP.
2. Choose Free shipping as the Type. No discount value is needed.
3. Optionally set a Minimum cart value, and the weekend dates in Valid from and Valid until.
4. Tick Active and click Save coupon.

When a shopper applies it, the shipping charge is removed and they see "Free shipping applied". In the coupon list its value shows as Free ship.
