How do I add a video to a product page?

I have a short demo video of my product and want it to show next to the photos.

Open the product and go to the Media card. In Video URL, do one of these:

  • Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link.
  • Paste a link to a video file, such as an .mp4.
  • Click Library to pick a video from your media.

Save the product. The video appears as an extra item in the product's photo gallery, with a play thumbnail. Click Remove to take it off.

Videos can also play when shoppers hover over a product card in listings. Go to Settings → Appearance → Catalog Settings → Shop & Category and set On Hover Media Preview to Video (play product video). Hover playback only works with video files, not YouTube or Vimeo links.
