Can I switch to a multi-step checkout or hide fields like Company Name?

My customers are individuals, so the company field just gets in the way. I'd also like checkout split into steps.

Yes. Go to Settings → Appearance → Catalog Settings, open the Checkout Page tab, change the options and click Save Changes.

  • Checkout Flow: One-page checkout, or Multi-step checkout, which splits the form into Information, Shipping and Payment with a progress stepper. It works with any template.
  • Company Name Field, Address Line 2 Field and Phone Field: set each to Hidden, Optional or Required.
  • Checkout Title and Checkout Subtitle.
  • Privacy Policy Page and Terms & Conditions Page links, and whether the terms link opens in a new tab.
  • Highlight Required Fields and Sticky Sidebar.

The Theme Templates dropdown on the same tab switches the checkout layout. It stays in sync with Checkout Templates, which you can reach with View Templates.
