Can I limit how many times a buyer can download my file, or make the link expire?
I sell design templates and don't want one purchase shared and downloaded endlessly.

Yes. Open your Downloadable product and go to the Downloadable card.
- Download limit: how many times each buyer can download each file. 0 means unlimited.
- Expiry (days): how many days after the order the download keeps working. 0 means never.
Click Save.
When a buyer goes over the limit, they see "Download limit reached for this file." After the expiry they see "This download link has expired."
These settings are copied onto each order when it is placed. Changing them later affects new orders only, not people who already bought.
