Can I choose which details show in the compare table and how many products can be compared?

Yes. Open Products → Product Comparison:

• Max products compared at once: anywhere from 2 to 6 (4 by default).
• Display fields: choose which rows appear. A row is skipped when none of the compared products has a value for it.
• If you use the Additional Fields plugin, tick Include additional fields in the comparison table.
• Placement sets where the Compare button shows: product list, product page, or both.

Untick Enable product comparison on the storefront to hide it completely.
