My out-of-stock products have disappeared from my shop pages. Are they deleted?

A few products sold out and now they are missing from the category pages. I want people to still see them.

No, they are only hidden. Your store is set not to list out-of-stock products.

  1. Go to Products → Inventory and click Inventory Settings (under Alerts & Settings).
  2. Under Storefront display, tick Show out-of-stock products on the storefront.
  3. Click Save Settings.

They then show on shop and category pages again, marked as out of stock. This only affects listings; the product page itself still opens from a direct link. Products that allow orders when out of stock and variable products with stock in any variation are always listed.
