My hero text is hard to read over the photo. How do I darken the image?

Add an overlay. Open the section and go to the Style tab:

1. Tick Enable Overlay.
2. Set Overlay Type to Colour (or Gradient for a fade).
3. In Overlay Colour, pick a dark colour and lower its transparency so the photo still shows through.
4. Click Save.

Many sections also have Overlay Opacity (0-1). Enter a decimal such as 0.4 or 0.6. A number above 1 is changed to 1.

On Hero Parallax Banner, another option is to tick Copy in a Card on the Layout tab. That puts your text on a solid panel, with its own Card Background and Card Text Colour.
