If I change my category URL prefix, will the links in my menu and blog posts break?

I want my category pages to use /collections instead of the current word in the URL.

Wcart updates most links for you. In Settings → SEO Settings → Permalink:

  1. Change the Product Category field and click Save next to it.
  2. A box shows how many pages, menu links and other places will change.
  3. Click Approve & apply, or Reject to cancel.

Approving replaces the old prefix across your store's links, sitemap and canonical tags. Wcart also tries to rewrite links inside your pages and blog posts, and the message tells you how many it updated.

Old addresses saved elsewhere (Google results, social posts) may stop working, so add redirects for important ones under Redirects.
