I switched on the header builder and my header changed. How do I get my old header back?

After turning on the visual builder my header looks different and I preferred the preset I had.

Turn the builder off again:

  1. Go to Settings → Appearance → Layout Settings, Header tab.
  2. Untick Header Visual Builder so it shows Builder OFF. You'll see "Using selected preset layout".

Then, under Prebuilt Header Templates, click Activate on the header you had before. If it already shows Active, nothing more is needed.

Your builder design isn't deleted. It stays under Your Custom Headers, so you can switch the builder back on later. The Footer tab has the same switch for the footer.
