I renamed a product and the old link is broken. How do I redirect it?

Use Settings → SEO Settings → Redirects (part of the Advanced SEO plugin):

1. Enter the Old path, for example /product/old-name. You can paste a whole URL and only the path is kept.
2. Enter the New path: a path on your store or a full https address elsewhere.
3. Choose a Type: Permanent (301) is the normal choice and passes the ranking on, Temporary (302) is for a page coming back later, and Gone (410) is for something deleted for good (no new path needed).
4. Click Add redirect.

The list shows how often each old link is Used and when it was last used. You can Disable a rule without deleting it. Changes take up to a minute to reach your storefront. Redirects are not created automatically when you rename something, so add one each time.
