How do I set up the home screen of my store's mobile app?

Go to Settings → App Settings → Mobile Home Screen. The home screen is a list of sections shown from top to bottom.

1. Turn the Search bar switch on or off. It's always the first section when on.
2. Click Add section. Enter a Section Title and choose a Select Layout: Banner, Categories, Brands, Tags or Product.
3. Pick a Layout Mode (Slider or Grid). Sliders take a view count and limit; grids take a Grid Type such as 2 col x 2 rows.
4. Narrow what shows with the Include or Exclude pickers for products, categories, brands or tags.
5. Optionally set a Redirection Type (an app screen or an external link) with Button Text.
6. Click Add section, then use the ↑ ↓ arrows in the list to reorder.

Set Layout Status to Hide to keep a section without showing it. On wide screens, a phone preview appears beside the list.
