How do I make a slider move on its own and change its speed?

My hero slider only changes when someone clicks the arrows. I want it to slide by itself every few seconds.

Open the slider section (for example Modern Hero Slider, or Categories Grid with Layout set to Carousel) and go to the Style tab: 1. Tick Auto Slide. 2. Pick Seconds per Slide: Default (5), 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 or 10. 3. Click Save. On the same tab: - Show Arrows adds previous and next arrows. Many sliders also have Arrow Style, Arrow Position and Hide Arrows on Mobile. - Show Dots adds dots under the slides, with Dot Style and Dot Position on many sliders. On Brand Slider, the tick is called Autoplay.
