Can my normal pages open at addresses like /about-us without a prefix?

I want my About and Contact pages at short, clean addresses rather than a longer path with an extra word.

Yes. Leave the Page prefix blank.

  1. Go to Settings → SEO Settings → Permalink.
  2. Clear the Page field. The hint shows that a blank prefix means pages open directly at their own slug.
  3. Click Save, check the summary, and click Approve & apply.

Page is the only prefix you can leave empty. Product, category, blog and the other prefixes always need a word. If you had already shared links under the old prefix, add redirects in Settings → SEO Settings → Redirects, because the old addresses stop working.
