Can I put a maximum on how much a percentage coupon can take off?

I want 20% off, but not more than Rs 500 off on very big orders.

Yes. Go to Marketing → Coupons and click + New coupon (or Edit).

  1. Choose Percentage (%) as the Type and enter 20 as the value.
  2. Enter 500 in Max discount (cap).
  3. Click Save coupon.

The discount is worked out as 20% of the eligible amount, then limited to 500. Leave Max discount (cap) empty for no cap.

You can also set a Minimum cart value so the code only works on orders above a certain amount.
